IMoore Plumbing and Heating, Inc. was established in Mancelona, MI (Antrim County) March 1, 1990 by Tim and Joanie Moore
Tim holds licenses for Residential Builder, Master Plumbing Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, and Boiler Installer. He has been in the construction field since 1983 and has experience in building, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning - both residential and commercial. He is the President of Moore Plumbing and Heating.
Joanie has extensive office experience dating back to High School. She worked as an office assistant for three years. Following High School she relocated to Detroit to work at her family business, Pecar Electronics. Pecar's was a leader in High Fidelity sound equipment and earned a reputation of integrity and a profound commitment to customer service - traits that Joanie contributed to Moore Plumbing and Heating. Joanie handles all of the accounting and office management at the business.
Kayla is Tim and Joanie's first-born. Kayla began answering the company phone when she was three years old. The phone rang, and she jumped to answer it. She helped out at the office and learned some of the accounting end. After her graduation from High School in 2014, Kayla worked as a marine officer with the Sheriff's Department, was manager of the pro golf shop, and pursued a career in law enforcement.
Brad is Tim and Joanie's second-born. Brad often went with dad on nearby service calls - early years, in a car seat - to customers who knew Brad since birth. The moms/grandmas enjoyed holding him while Tim worked. In his toddler years, he continued to go with dad, but carried a small tool bag with plastic hammers and screwdrivers. He crawled under sinks and "helped" Tim repair leaks and change faucets. It's no surprise, then, Brad learned the trade early on and is our right-hand man at the business.
Ashley is our tremendous office assistance. A very fast learner with personal and strong attributes - Ashley is dependable, ambitious, thoughtful, and a team player. She has integrity and is compassionate about our others - she cares about Moore Plumbing and Heating customers and works hard to ensure honest and high quality service. Ashley has quickly learned nearly all aspects of bookkeeping, and has proven to be a capable and detail-oriented employee.
